My name is Jorge Orozco-Cordero.

A long name, but strategically shortened from Jorge Eduardo Orozco-Cordero de Salazar-Quesada. You can only imagine how much paper I used in grade school writing that over and over in block letters. I actually recall having to tape three sheets together horizontally just to make it all fit.

So I am going to make it easy for you. Call me Jorge — or if you are so inclined, George will work just as well.

Now that we've gotten all of that out of the way, let's talk some more about me.

Simply put: I live for marketing. As absurd as that may sound, it is so very true. The concepts behind marketing and branding have consumed the better part of the last twenty years of my life. From my early college years studying cognition and theories of motivation to running sophisticated multi-tiered branding campaigns, I am obsessed by the study and practice of marketing and the effects that its application has on our culture.

But more importantly, my squirrelly little brain is tweaked for figuring out the best marketing plan of action for a particular business or social objective and how to bring together the most qualified team to make it happen on time and on budget.
